Each week we will focus on a new aspect of training for highland technique. Ballet increases balance and performance quality while enhancing the dancers’ lines, points, and turnout.
Stretch/Strength
The class will show dancers how to properly warm-up and cool down their muscles and pay attention to common highland dance overuse injuries. The strengthening aspect of this class will include different plyometric and stamina training each week to increase their power and ability in dancing.
Theory
A theory class for those wishing to examine with the B.A.T.D in the graded levels and move on to become a professional teaching member. Grades 1-5. Elementary – Associate and member teachers. This class is also helpful in understanding essential technique development.

Reviews
"My daughter has been Highland Dancing with Miss Lindsay since she was 3 years old. The incredible progress she has made at now just 5 years of age is nothing short of remarkable. Miss Lindsay is firm but fair and teaches discipline and technique all with an obvious and overwhelming love for both the art itself and the kids in her charge. The families here are supportive and welcoming as are the older students who help with classes and inspire the younger kids with their dedication and performances. My daughter is able to dance on stage with confidence and poise, she has gained athletic strength and endurance and above all that, she has made friends that have become family. I would highly recommend Lindsay Rose Dance Company for any child who is looking for a technically challenging sport taught by someone who has the skill, dedication and the perfect combination of tough love and support to help them grow to their full potential"

"Lindsay is an amazing and knowledgeable dance teacher. My daughter has been dancing with Lindsay for over two years and what she has learned is remarkable and impressive, our daughter loves going to dance class every week and is sad when it’s holidays and she doesn’t get to attend. The best part of the Lindsay Rose Dance studio is your family will make amazing friendships and feel like part of a supportive family"
